New items

30-day return window

New items must be unused, with tags attached, and returned in the original packaging before the window expires.

Pre-loved items

7-day return window

Pre-loved items must be returned in the same condition received, with tags and included documentation, before the window expires.

Request a return

Email service@gabysbags.com before sending a return so we can provide the return address and related instructions. Include your receipt or proof of purchase inside the return package.

Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you of approval or rejection. Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method; bank posting times may vary.

Partial refunds or no refunds may apply case by case when:

  • The item is not in its original condition.
  • The item is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error.
  • The return is mailed after the return window.
  • Original shipping or return shipping costs apply.

Late or missing refunds

If an approved refund has not posted yet, check your bank account again, contact your credit card company, then contact your bank. If you have completed those steps and still do not see the refund, email service@gabysbags.com.

Shipping costs and exchanges

Original shipping and return shipping costs are non-refundable. Exchanges are offered only for defective or damaged items and are reviewed case by case.

If we provide a prepaid label, or an item is returned to sender using our shipping account, the return shipping cost will be deducted from the refund. For returns over $75, consider using tracking or shipping insurance.

Afterpay returns

Afterpay returns and cancellations have special conditions because payment installments are managed by Afterpay. Afterpay returns and cancellations are assessed a 6% cancellation/restocking fee unless store credit is specifically requested in writing with the return.

To request store credit instead, include a written note in the return package with your full name, shipping address, order number, reason for return, and order email address. The note must say that the order was paid with Afterpay and that you are requesting store credit instead of a refund minus the 6% fee.

Once an Afterpay refund is issued minus the 6% fee, we cannot reverse it, so the written store-credit request must be included before the return is processed.
